How does driver messaging work?

The WIS ticket system is complex enough to cover all areas of communication, including real time communication between the drivers and the office. In the Ticket System, anybody using WIS can send a message to a driver. This message then opens a ticket which must be followed up by the truck driver. The truck driver must then close the ticket, once task is completed. In this manner, the Ticket system allows companies to keep track of anything that can go wrong during a shift and take action immediately.

How to create messages for Drivers?

From the WIS Ticket module, the office is able to send messages to specific drivers and they are able to reply and close tickets.
Simply go to Ticket System >> Tickets >> Add New. Then, from the Department drop-down menu, select Commercial/Domestic Driver/Helper, then from Driver drop-down menu, the name of the Driver you would like to message and fill out the ticket as usual. This ticket will be shown at the bottom of the Communication Center section.  Make sure to choose Delivery Date - today's date.

How to calibrate the weighing system?

Once the WIS weighing system is installed on the waste truck, you need to enable it to communicate with the Truck Router mobile application.

The steps are the following:

1. Log in the Truck Router app on your device;
2. Once you are logged in, press on the Settings button (the little wheel), it is the second top button on the right;
3. Press Bluetooth Operating Mode (the third on the list); then select Weighing System Mode and press OK.
